Grape Varieties: 55% Viosinho / 30% Gouveio / 15% Malvasia Fina
Winemaker Notes: Through the art of blending, grape varieties, terroirs and traditional Douro winemaking methods, the Viosinho, Boal and Malvasia Fina were blended to create Três Bagos White from Lavradores/de/Feitoria. The goal was to produce a fresh, aromatic and pleasant white wine, good for storage yet modern and international.
Production Technology: From vineyards aged 25-30 years, grown in schistose soils, grapes are harvested by hand and transported in small 25 kg containers.
After complete destemming and soft crushing, wines were pressed (pneumatic press), the must rested and then fermented, part in french oak barrels, part in inox vats in low temperatures, both with controlled turbidity.
After fermenting in 225 liter new French oak barrels, the wine aged for approximately 6 months. Then, the blend was made.
The wine was stabilized and filtered.
