2 x Chateau Clerc Milon 2008 0,375l (Pauillac)
The wine is a deep and radiant garnet red. The nose reveals finely toasted spice and tobacco notes combined with more intense aromas of red fruit and cherry stone, with a mineral touch. The palate is full and well-defined, dominated by the lustre of succulent fruit and refined, flavoursome tannins that open on a hint of chocolate. The long, warm-hearted finish is lifted by a slightly saline taste. A superb wine in a particularly demanding vintage.
2 x Chateau Lagrange 2006 0,375l (Saint-Julien)
The colour is rich and deep with purple red nuances. The nose is dominated by fresh red fruits with no over ripeness and by toasty notes. The fresh fruit, with a zest of citrus, coats the wood and liquorice aromas. In the palate, the entry is wellstructured and ample; the development remains virile, very generous and remarkably powerful ; the very long finish offers sweetness without tanic harshness. It’s a typical vintage of the Médoc marrying concentrated elegance and unctuosity whilst preserving the freshness brought by the great cabs.
2 x Chateau Cantenac Brown 0,375l (Margaux)
Nice color, very deep. First, fruits come with berries and black cherries aromas. Then roasted coee and a slight smoky ‑avor get added to the wide range of aromas suggested in this wine. The attack is silky and elegant. The wine is harmonious. The length is smooth.
