There is an exciting relationship between the variety, Hárslevelű, and the volcanic soil of Somló. Hárslevelű has it’s elegant flower and acacia notes, which are combined with the amazing minerality and saltiness of the region. When young, flavors notes are citrus, stones and apples, which evolve into a salted honey and pear notes. Great acidity and a long finish allow the wine to last long on our pallet. This wine represents the pure Somló terroir, and is definitely a very ageable wine. Fermentation was spontaneous and the wine has been aged in stainless still tanks, with lees connection. Great match with hard cheeses, salads, ceviche, white fishes and seafood dishes.
